When professional development is needed.

Professional Development - CrossroadsThis is about developing your strengths and finding untapped skills. You might feel stuck in your role. Lack confidence in some aspect of your work. There may be a working relationship or situation that you find challenging. You might just want to do what you do a little differently. Making good, better.

Professional development helps you to gain confidence, work more effectively with others, make progress within your role or transition to a future role. You develop skills and knowledge that will help you to create opportunities.

We have lots of experience supporting HR teams and individuals in identifying goals and setting development plans to achieve them.

Our approach

We start with a conversation about what you want to achieve. It also allows you to get a feel for the coach, and how well you will work together. Most of the time, that initial conversation will be with Jo. But all of our professional development coaches know what makes people tick and how to get the best out of them.

Our focus will then be on your workplace challenge – whatever that might be. Your coach will use powerful questioning techniques, and (where needed) provide an external perspective or suggestion, helping you to apply new approaches, gain new skills and find fresh perspectives.

It is important to know that all of your coaching conversations are treated as confidential. Nothing is shared unless you want it to be.

We don’t want to give too much away here, so if you are still with us then Let’s talk.

Career Development Coaching

The most important things you need to know about our career development coaching:

  1. It’s not directive. It’s about having powerful conversations to unlock your potential – asking the questions that enable you to find your own solutions.
  2. We’re going to try to break you! It sounds a bit harsh but businesses can grow organically and you may have been in your role for a while. We help you to break established habits and learned behaviours to become more effective within your role.
  3. We won’t give you the answers. We help you to find them. Career development coaching gives you the confidence to solve problems yourself, leaving a much longer lasting impact on your organisation.
