Language and Culture Training for Business

“Language and Culture Training for Businesses” is an upcoming series of courses organised by UKTI. As part of the programme, Optima Training (UK) Limited will be delivering two French sessions in Nottingham:

• Beginners French – Jury’s Inn, Nottingham, 2nd July
• Intermediate French Jury’s Inn, Nottingham, 16th July

We will be offering a prize draw for all delegates that attend. You could win a free French training session.

The Beginners Courses will cover:

Culture
Business etiquette, Dress code, Expectations of punctuality, Introductions, Format of the meeting, Negotiation, Business ethics, Keeping the relationship going, Gift giving, Social etiquette, Dining out, Tipping, Meeting the family.

Language
Meeting and greeting, Addressing people, Numbers, Formalities, Days of the week, Telephone conversations, Food and drink, Saying goodbye.

How much does it cost?

The ‘Language and Culture Training for Businesses’ programme is heavily subsidised by UKTI. Each course costs just £30 for the full day, including a buffet lunch. Those companies who are participating in either Passport to Export or Gateway to Global Growth are eligible to attend two courses free of charge.
